VALAKKAI (RAW BANANA CHIPS)

RAW BANANA CHIPS

Ingredients:

Raw banana - 1
Oil for deep frying
Salt as needed
Pepper - 1/2 t spoon
Turmeric - 1/4 t spoon


     Peal off the skin from the banana.
     Heat a frying pan with oil.
     When the oil is hot enough, Directly slice the banana with a thin slicer into the hot oil.
     Fry for 2 minutes in medium flame and turn the chips and again fry for 2 more minutes.



     After the bubbles in the oil has reduced drain the chips in a tissue paper.
     Add salt, pepper and turmeric powder to taste.
     Our homemade banana chips is ready.


We can use tapioca instead of banana and make crispy tapioca chips.
