HALDIRAM MOONG DAL
Ingredients:
Moong Dal - 1 cup
Salt as needed
Oil for deep frying
Chilly Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Wash and soak moong dal in water for 3 hours.
Drain off the water in a filter.
Pat dry the moong dal in a cloth, so that all excess water gets absorbed.
Fry the moong dal in a wire ladle or net little by little in batches.
Stir continuously with a spoon until the moong dal turns crisp and the bubble sound subsides.
Remove the fried moong dal in a tissue paper and remove the excess oil.
Mix the fried moong dal with salt and chilly powder.
Store the Haldiram moong dal in an an air tight container and enjoy your tea time snack!
