METHI CHAPATHI WITH JEERA POTATO 



METHI CHAPATHI
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour - 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Kasturi methi - 1 t spoon
Oil - 3 t

      Take wheat flour and water in 2:1 ratio and kneed the chapathi dough.
      Make small balls and add 1/2 t spoon of Kasturi methi on the top of the ball and roll the chapathi using the rolling pin.


      Sprinkle dry wheat flour while rolling if necessary.


      Cook the chapathi in a tawa in high heat.


      Our methi chapathi is ready.



       

JEERA POTATO 
Ingredients:
Potato - 2 large
Cumin seeds - 1 t spoon
Pepper powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Green Chilly - 1/2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Salt as needed
Oil - 2 t spoon



      Cut potatoes into bite sized pieces and par boil so that the potatoes are slightly cooked.
      Chop green chillies and ginger into very small pieces.



 Heat 2 t spoon of oil in a pan, fry green chilly, cumin seeds and ginger for a minute in low flame.


      Add the pepper, chilly, salt and turmeric and fry for a minute.


      Then add the par boiled potatoes and fry in low flame for 10 minutes or till it gets roasted.


      Our roasted jeera potato is ready. It goes well with chapathi or variety rice.
