MULLU MURUKU

Ingredients:

Rice Flour - 1/2 cup

Urad Dhal - 2 t spoon

Salt - 1/2 t spoon

Jeera - 1/4 t spoon

Oil - 1 t spoon + for deep frying

Asafoetida - 1 pinch

Coconut Milk - 1/4 cup (Optional)



      Dry roast urad dhal in low flame till nice aroma comes may be 2 minutes.(White colour must not be changed)



      Seive it and mix it with rice flour, salt, asafoetida, oil and jeera to form a crumble texture.




      Add water or coconut milk little by little to form a soft dough.



      Take your desired murukku achu and press the murukku flour directly into the hot oil.




      Fry the murukku in medium- low flame until the bubbles subsides.

      Remove the murukku in a tissue paper so that the excess oil is absorbed.



      Our tea time snacks is ready.
