CRISPY FRIED CORN

 CRISPY FRIED CORN

Ingredients:
Sweet Corn - 1 /2 cup
Rice Flour - 1/2 tbl spoon
Corn Flour - 2 tbl spoon
Salt as needed 
Pepper - 1/4 t spoon
Chilly Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Cumin Powder - 1 pinch 


      Boil corn kernels in water for 3 minutes and drain off to remove excess water.



      Now add corn flour, rice flour, salt and pepper to the sweet corn and mix well until the flour is well coated with the corn.



      Sieve the mixture to remove excess flour.
      Deep fry the corn in medium flame, stirring occasionally until golden.
      Now drain off the corn in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.
      In a mixing bowl, mix fried corn with chilly powder and cumin powder until the spices are well combined.



      Add chopped onion and enjoy crispy fried corn immediately.



NOTE:
      Serve fried corn immediately after frying. Otherwise the corn turns soggy.

      We can also add cheese powder along with chilly powder.

      Cover with a lid while deep frying to avoid bursting of corn.
