 PANEER BUTTER MASALA
Ingredients:
Paneer _ 200 gm
Butter _ 1 tbl spoon
Fresh Cream _ 2 tbl spoon
Chilly Powder _ 1 t spoon
Coriander Powder _ 2 t spoon
Turmeric Powder _ 1/4 t spoon
Garam Masala _ 1/2 t spoon
Salt as needed
Kasuri Methi _ 1/2 t spoon
Cashewnut _ 6
Coriander Leaves _ 1 tbl spoon
Oil - 1 tbl spoon
Onion _ 1
Tomato _ 2
Cumin _ 1/2 t spoon
Fennel Seeds _ 1/2 t spoon
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Cloves _ 1
Ginger Garlic Paste _ 1 t spoon
Green Chilly _ 1 small


      Cut paneer into bite sized pieces.
      Grind cashews along with water to a fine paste and keep aside.


      In a pan heat oil and fry cumin seeds, feny seeds, ginger Garlic Paste, cinnamon, cloves and chopped green chilly for 2 minutes in low flame.
      Add chopped onion and fry till golden.


      Now add chopped tomato and cook till mushy.


      Add the chilly powder, coriander Powder, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and saute for 5 more minutes in low flame.



      Add 1/2 cup water if necessary.


      Add the cashew paste and let this cook until raw smell leaves.


      When the gravy is almost ready add fresh cream, butter and crushed kasuri methi along with paneer.


      Simmer for 5 more minutes and switch off the stove.


      Enjoy creamy paneer butter masala with chapathi or roti.


NOTE:

      Instead of fresh cream, we can add paaladai or milk dumplings to the gravy.
