GOBI / CAULIFLOWER PEPPER FRY

 CAULIFLOWER PEPPER FRY 

Ingredients:
Cauliflower Florets - 1 cup
Pepper - 1 tbl spoon 
Cumin - 1 t spoon 
Fennel Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Curry Leaves - 1 spring 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Red Chilly - 1
Onion - 1
Garlic - 5
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece 
Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Salt as needed 




      In a hot tawa fry pepper, cumin, fennel seeds and red chilly in a low flame and grind it to a fine coarse powder.



      Wash and boil cauliflower florets for 5 minutes and keep aside.
      In a hot pan add oil and fry crushed ginger and garlic in low flame until slightly browned.


      Add curry leaves and chopped onion and fry until onion turns transparent.


      Now add the cauliflower florets and fry for 5 more minutes.
      Add turmeric powder and ground powder along with salt and mix with cauliflower.


      Cook in low flame stirring occasionally until the cauliflower is well cooked and blend well with the pepper masala.


      Enjoy pepper gobi fry with chappathi or rasam rice.
