 MYSORE MASALA DOSA


For spicy chutney:
Ingredients:
Channa Dal _ 3 tbl spoon
Red Chilly _ 8
Salt as needed
Garlic _ 6
Onion _ 1 tbl spoon chopped
Oil _ 1 t spoon


   In a pan add oil and fry channa dal, red chilly in low flame.


      Now add garlic and onion and fry for another 5 minutes in low flame.


      Once cooled, grind to a fine paste along with little water.


      Our spicy chutney is ready to spread above the dosa.

For masala:
Ingredients:
Potato _ 2
Onion _ 1
Mustard Seeds _ 1/4 t spoon
Oil _ 1 t spoon
Green Chilly _ 1
Garlic _ 2
Ginger _ 1 small piece
Turmeric Powder _ 1/4 t spoon
Salt as needed


      Boil potatoes, remove the skin and keep aside.
      Chop garlic, ginger, green Chilly to very small pieces.
      In a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, green chilly and fry for a minute.


      Add chopped onion and fry until translucent.


      Add turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
      Now add mashed potato and mix well.


      Add 1 tbl spoon water if needed and switch off the flame.


      Our potato masala is ready.

For Mysore masala dosa:

      In a hot dosa tawa, spread the dosa batter to a thin dosa and let this cook in low flame.
      Once the dosa gets half cooked, spread the spicy chutney above the dosa.


      Sprinkle some ghee or oil and spread potato masala in 1 half of the dosa.


      Once the dosa gets crisp at the bottom, fold the dosa and remove from flame.
      No need to turn the dosa.


      Enjoy Mysore masala dosa with chutney of your choice!
