SEMIYA KESARI
Ingredients:Semiya _ 1/2 cup
Cashewnuts _ 4
Ghee _ 1 tbl spoon
Cardamom _ 1
Sugar _ 2 tbl spoon
Salt _ 1 small pinch
Kesari Colour _ 1 pinch
In a pan fry cashews and semiya in ghee until golden separately and keep aside.
Boil 1 cup of water, add salt, crushed seeds of cardamom, semiya and cook in low flame covered until the semiya turns soft.
Now add orange Kesari Colour and sugar and mix gently.
Sugar will melt and get watery.
Taste and add more sugar if needed.
Cook in low flame until the Kesari thickens.
Add 1 t spoon ghee and fluff the Kesari.
Cook in low flame until the Kesari thickens.
Add 1 t spoon ghee and fluff the Kesari.
Garnish with fried cashews and enjoy semiya Kesari when it is warm.
