VEG PULAO
Ingredients:
Basmathi Rice _ 1 cupCarrot 🥕_ 3
Beans _ 5
Onion _ 1
Tomato _ 1
Garlic _ 4
Ginger _ 1 inch piece
Green Chilly _ 1 1/2
Salt as needed
Ghee _ 2 tbl spoon
Oil _ 1 t spoon
Cinnamon Stick _ 1
Cardamom _ 1
Fennel Seeds _ 1/2 t spoon
Cloves _ 2
Coriander Leaves _ 2 tbl spoon chopped
Wash and soak rice in water for 1/2 an hour.
Grind together ginger, garlic, green Chilly to a coarse paste in a mixer and keep aside.
In a pressure cooker heat oil, ghee and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel seeds for a minute.
Add chopped onion and fry until golden.
Add the ground paste and fry in low flame until raw small leaves.

Now add chopped tomato, carrot, beans, salt and cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove excess water from rice and add to the vegetables mixture.
Fry for a minute and add 2 1/2 cup water and chopped coriander leaves.
Cover the cooker with the lid and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles in medium _ low flame.
Switch off the flame and wait for 20 minutes untill the pressure releases itself.
Now open the lid and fluff the rice without breaking.
