CHICKEN TIKKA

 CHICKEN TIKKA 

Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken - 300 gm
Onion - 1/2
Curd - 3 tbl spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Salt as needed 
Chilly Powder - 1 1/2 t spoon
Garam Masala - 1 t spoon 
Cumin Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Coriander Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbl spoon 
Lemon - 1/2
Pepper Powder - 1/2 t spoon 


      Cut onion into bite sized pieces.
      Mix curd along with turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste.



      Add the chicken, onion to the masala and mix well.


      Refrigerate the marinated chicken overnight so that the masala blends well with the chicken.
      Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and apply oil.
      Place the chicken, onion in the tray and brush some oil on the top of the chicken.


      Grill the chicken in a preheated oven at 240 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the chicken gets cooked and soft.
      Turn the chicken frequently for even cooking.
      Brush some oil and curd masala on the chicken so that the chicken does not get dried up.
      Once the edges start darkening, our chicken tikka is ready.


      Enjoy chicken tikka with lemon and onion wedges.

NOTE:
      We can apply some oil and roast the chicken tikka in a dosa tawa or grill pan also.
