MUSHROOM METHI MASALA

MUSHROOM METHI MASALA 

Ingredients:
Mushroom - 100 gm 
Kasuri Methi - 1 t spoon
Salt as needed 
Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder - 2 t spoon 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Garam Masala - 1/4 t spoon 
Butter - 1 tbl spoon 
Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 t spoon 
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Biriyani Leaf - 1
Cloves - 2
Cashew nut - 7
Green Chilly - 2


      Cut mushroom, onion, tomato into small pieces.      
      Grind cashews with water to a fine paste and keep aside.


      Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, cloves, biriyani leaf in low flame.
      Add onion add fry until golden.


      Now add tomato, ginger garlic paste and sauté in low flame until mushy.


      Add turmeric powder, salt, Kashmiri chilly powder, garam masala and mix well.


      Add 1/2 cup water, cashew paste and cook covered until oil separates from the gravy.


      Now add the mushrooms, slitted green chilly and cook covered in low flame.


      Once the mushroom gets cooked add kasuri methi and mix.


      Add butter, chopped coriander leaves and serve creamy mushroom methi masala with chappathi or fried rice.
