  KESARI USING BROWN SUGAR 

Ingredients:
Ravai / Sooji - 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar / Jaggery  - 3/4 cup + 1 tbl spoon 
Water - 1 1/2 cup
Cashew nut - 4
Dry Grapes - 4
Ghee - 6 t spoon 


      Add water to brown sugar and heat in low flame until combined.



      Strain the sugar water in a tea filter.
      Fry cashews and dry grapes in 1 t spoon ghee until golden and keep aside.
      In a pan heat 1 t spoon ghee and roast the rava in low flame until we get a nice aroma.


      Now in a pan heat the strained sugar water.
      When it comes to boil, add the roasted rava and cook in low flame until the Kesari thickens.


      Add 4 t spoon ghee and mix well.


      Switch off the flame and transfer the Kesari to a plate.


      Garnish with the fried cashews, dry grapes and enjoy guilt free rava Kesari.
