WHEAT HALVA

WHEAT FLOUR HALVA

Ingredients:
Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 1/2 cup
Water - 5 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup 


      Mix wheat flour with water and keep aside.
      In a pan roast cashew nut or almonds with 1 t spoon ghee and keep aside.
      In a heavy bottomed pan pour the wheat mixture and keep mixing in low flame.




      Once it becomes slightly thick add 2 cups sugar and keep mixing.
      Pour the ghee little by little and keep mixing.



      In a kadai heat the remaining 1/2 cup sugar in low pan.
      It starts melting and gets golden.



      Once the sugar gets caramelised, pour it in the wheat flour.


      Keep stirring continuously until the halva thickens.


      Once the required consistency is reached, switch off the flame and transfer to a bowl.


      Garnish with fried nuts and enjoy yummy homemade wheat halva.
