 COCONUT MILK CHICKEN FRY

Ingredients:
Chicken _ 500 gm 
Coconut Milk _ 1/4 cup
Salt as needed
Onion _ 1/2
Ginger _ 1/2 Inch piece
Green Chilly _ 2
Garam Masala _ 1 t spoon
Curry Leaves _ 2 spring 
Turmeric Powder _ 1/4 t spoon
Chilly Powder _ 1/2 t spoon


      Clean chicken and make slits if the pieces are big.
      Grind together curry leaves, garam masala, ginger, green chilly, onion, salt to a fine paste.
      Add the ground paste, turmeric powder, chilly powder to the chicken and mix well.



      Let the chicken marinate rest for 2 hours or refrigerate overnight.


      Now heat the coconut milk in a heavy bottomed pan and add the marinated chicken.



      Cover and cook for 40 minutes in low flame.
      Turn the chicken frequently for even cooking.
      Once the chicken gets cooked completely and the coconut milk gets absorbed by the chicken, switch off the flame.


      Enjoy oil free chicken fry with chopped onion and lemon wedges.
