CHICKEN GRAVY
Ingredients:Chicken - 1/2 kg
Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Coriander Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Curry Leaves - 1 spring
Onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 tbl spoon
For Grinding:
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tbl spoon
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 t spoon
Coriander Seeds - 3/4 tbl spoon
Pepper Seeds - 1/2t spoon
Red Chilly - 12
Curry Leaves - 1 spring
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Cloves - 2
Kalpasi - 2
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Add 1 tbl spoon oil in a pan and fry all the ingredients for grinding.
Roast in low flame until coconut gets golden.
Add water and grind to a fine paste.
In a pan heat oil and fry onion until golden.
Now add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell leaves.
Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, pepper powder, chilly powder , 1/4 cup water and cook until mushy.
Add chicken, ground masala paste, salt and cook covered until the chicken gets cooked soft.
Add more water if needed.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Enjoy chicken kulambu with hot rice.
