BOTTLE GOURD PULAO
Ingredients:Sorakkai - 1
Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Onion - 1/2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 t spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon
Green Chilly - 3
Oil - 1 tbl spoon
Ghee - 1 tbl spoon
Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Cloves - 2
Biriyani Leaf - 1
Fennel Seeds - 1/4 t spoon
Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 20 minutes.
Heat oil, ghee and fry cinnamon stick, cloves, biriyani leaf, fennel seeds for a minute.
Now add sliced onion and fry for 2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste, slit green chilly, mint leaves and sauté until raw smell leaves.
Add chopped bottle gourd, rice, coriander powder and mix well.
Add 2 cups water and allow to boil.
Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
Our bottle gourd pulav is ready to enjoy with raita and any gravy.
