GARLIC RIBBON MURUKKU

GARLIC RIBBON MURUKKU 

Ingredients:
Gram Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Asafoetida - 1 pinch 
Salt as needed 
Seasame Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Melted Butter - 1 tbl spoon 
Red Chilly - 6
Garlic - 6


      Grind together garlic and red chilly with little water to a fine paste.


      Mix together gram flour, rice flour, salt, melted butter, asafoetida, seasame seeds, ground garlic chilly paste.


      Add little water and kneed to a soft dough.


      Place the dough in a murukku press and press directly in hot oil.


      Fry ribbon murukku directly in hot oil in medium flame.


      Remove the ribbon murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store in an air tight container and enjoy with a cup of coffee.
