RICE FLOUR MURUKKU/ KARA MURUKKU

RICE FLOUR MURUKKU 

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 1/2 cup
Butter - 2 tbl spoon 
Salt as needed 
Asafoetida - 1 pinch 
Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon 
 Seasame Seeds - 1/2 t spoon 


      Mix together rice flour, salt, asafoetida, chilly powder, seasame seeds and melted butter.


      Sprinkle little water and kneed to a soft dough.


      Place the dough in a murukku press and press directly in hot oil.
      Fry the murukku in low flame until bubbles completely stops.


      Turn in between for even cooking.
      Remove the murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store in an air tight container and enjoy Kara murukku with hot tea.
