MAAVU LADOO/ FRIED GRAM LADOO
Ingredients:
Pori kadalai / Fried Gram - 1 cup
Sugar - 100 gm
Cardamom - 2
Ghee - 1/4 cup + 2 tbl spoon
Cashew nut - 5
Dry roast fried gram in low flame just for a minute without changing its colour.
Grind sugar with cardamom seeds to a fine powder.
Grind fried gram to a fine powder.
Sift fried gram, sugar powder in a seive.
Roast cashews in ghee and pour the cashews and hot ghee in the powdered fried gram, sugar mix.
Mix well and roll small balls immediately when the ghee is still hot.
If the ghee is not hot it is difficult to make balls.
Heat more ghee and add if we cannot roll balls.
