RAGI MURUKKU

 RAGI MURUKKU 

Ingredients:
Ragi Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
Ajwain - 1/2 t spoon 
Salt as needed 
Gram Flour - 1  1/2 tbl spoon 
Hot Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Asafoetida - 1 pinch 


      In a mixing bowl mix together ragi flour, gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafoetida, ajwain, hot oil.



      Add little water and make a soft dough.


      Place the dough in the murukku mould and press directly in hot oil.



      Fry until the bubbles sound stops in medium flame.
      Remove the ragi murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets drained off.


      Once cooled, store ragi murukku in an air tight container.
