POTATO SMILEY

POTATO SMILIES

Ingredients:
Potato - 2 big
Bread - 3
Corn Flour - 2 1/2 tbl spoon 
Salt as needed 
Kashmiri Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Oil - For Deep Frying 


      Pressure cook potatoes until soft.
      Peel off the skin and grate or smash the potatoes.
      Dry Grind brown or white bread in a mixer and add to the smashed potatoes.
      Add corn flour, salt, chilly powder and kneed to a soft dough.



      Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
      Place a butter paper and flatten the dough to a little thick circle.
      Press the dough using a small cookie cutter or any small lid.


      Dip the lid each time in dry corn flour before pressing, so that the dough does not stick.
      Take a straw and dip in corn flour and make small holes for eyes.
      Press using a spoon to get mouth shape.


      Freeze the prepared smilies until use or deep fry immediately in low flame until golden.


      Remove the smilies in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Enjoy potato smilie with tomato sauce or mayonnaise.
