PEPPER KHARA SEVU

KARA SEV

Ingredients:
Gram Flour / Kadala Maavu -  1 cup
Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
Salt as needed 
Asafoetida - 1 pinch 
Oil - For Deep Frying 
To Grind:
Red chilly - 3
Garlic - 5
Pepper - 1 1/4 t spoon 


      Grind red chilly, pepper, garlic with water to a fine paste.


      Take gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafoetida, ground paste in a mixing bowl.


      Kneed to a sticky dough and place in a murukku press with big holes.


      Heat oil in a pan and press the dough directly in hot oil in circular motion.
      Fry in low flame until bubbles reduces.


      Remove in a tissue paste and break into small pieces.
      Once completely cooled, store in an air tight container.


      Enjoy Kara sev with hot tea.
