RING MURUKKU

RING MURUKKU 


Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Urad Dal - 1 tbl spoon 
Salt as needed 
Chilly Powder - 3/4 t spoon 
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 t spoon 
Butter - 1 tbl spoon 


      Grind urad Dal and keep aside.
      Boil 1 cup water and add salt, butter, rice flour and mix well.




      Once it is lightly cooled add urad Dal, chilly powder, cumin seeds and kneed to a soft dough.




      Make equal sized small balls and roll to thin ropes. Join both the sides of the ropes and keep aside.



      Fry the prepared ring murukku in hot oil in low flame until bubbles in the oil reduces.


      Turn the murukku in between and fry on both sides.
      Remove the ring murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store ring murukku in an air tight container.
