CASHEW MURUKKU

CASHEW MURUKKU 

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Salt as needed 
Cashew nut - 35
Red Chilly Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Pepper Powder - 1 pinch 
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 t spoon 
Ghee - 2 t spoon 


      Soak cashews in hot water for 10 minutes.
      Grind to a fine paste.
      Take rice flour, salt, chilly powder, pepper powder, cumin, ghee, ground cashew paste in a mixing bowl and kneed to a soft dough.




      Add little water if needed.
      Fill the murukku press with the dough and press directly in hot oil.


      Cook in low flame turning in between until bubbles in the oil reduces.
      Remove the murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store in an air tight container and enjoy with hot tea.
