RICE FLOUR MURUKKU

RICE FLOUR MURUKKU 

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Maida - 1/2 cup
Seasame Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Salt as needed 
Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon 
Butter - 1 tbl spoon 
Asafoetida - 1 pinch 


       Mix rice flour, maida, butter, salt, chilly powder, asafoetida, seasame seeds in a mixing bowl.


      Add water and kneed to a soft dough.


      Fill the dough in the murukku maker and press into small spiral shapes in the backside of spoons.


      Heat oil and drop the murukku carefully.
      Fry on both sides until bubbles in the oil reduces.


      Remove the murukku in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store the murukku in an air tight container and enjoy with hot tea.
