ADA PRADHAMAN
Ingredients:Rice Ada - 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar / Jaggery - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 t spoon
Salt - 1 pinch
Cashews - 5
Dry Grapes - 5
Cardamom - 1
Coconut Milk Thick - 1/4 cup
Coconut Milk Thin - 1/2 cup
Grind coconut and extract thick and second thin coconut milk and keep aside.
Soak rice ada for 1/2 an hour and cook in water until soft.
Drain the excess water and wash it in cold water, so that the cooked ada does not gets sticky.
Sauté the ada in 1 t spoon ghee just for a minute and keep aside.
Add the jaggery in a pan with 1/4 cup water and allow it to boil.
Strain in a tea filter, add the cooked ada and cook in low flame.
Add the thin coconut milk and allow it to boil.
Once it lightly thickens add the thick coconut milk and simmer for 2 minutes.
