HALDIRAM CHANA DAL/ FRIED CHANA DAL

CHANA DAL NAMKEEN 

Ingredients:
Chana Dal - 1 cup
Salt as needed
Oil For Deep Frying 
Chilly Powder - 1/4 t spoon 


      Soak chana Dal with 1 t spoon salt for 6 hours or overnight.


      Drain excess water and allow the chana Dal to dry completely.


      Deep fry the chana Dal in hot oil in low flame until the oil stops spluttering.



      Drain the fried chana Dal in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.
      Add chilly powder, salt and toss gently.



       Store crunchy fried chana Dal in an air tight container.
