CHANA MASALA USING COCONUT MILK

CHANA MASALA 

Ingredients:
Chana - 1/2 cup
Coconut Oil - 2 tbl spoon 
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 t spoon 
Onion - 1
Tomato- 1
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 t spoon 
Salt - 1 t spoon 
Chilly Powder - 3/4 t spoon 
Chana Masala Powder - 1 t spoon 
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbl spoon chopped 


      Soak chana overnight and pressure cook for 6 to 8 whistles in medium flame.
      Heat coconut oil, add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
      Add chopped onion and cook until golden.
      Add chopped tomato and cook until mushy.


      Add ginger garlic paste and sauté.


      Now add salt, chilly powder, chana masala powder and mix well.



      Add cooked chana along with water, cover with a lid and simmer until the gravy thickens.


      Add coconut milk and cook in low flame until we get the required consistency.



      Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and enjoy chana masala with chappathi.
