ROAD SIDE MUSHROOM/ KAALAN MASALA

ROAD SIDE MUSHROOM 

Ingredients:
For Mushroom pakoda:
Mushroom - 200 gm
Cabbage - 150 gm
Salt as needed 
Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon 
Garam Masala - 1/2 t spoon 
Maida - 1/2 cup
Corn Flour - 2 tbl Spoon 
For Masala:
 Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Onion - 1
Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 t spoon 
Tomato - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon 
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon 
Garam Masala - 1/4 t spoon 
Corn Flour - 1 tbl spoon 


      Cut mushroom, cabbage into small pieces, wash and drain excess water.


      Add salt, chilly powder, garam masala powder, maida, corn flour and mix well.


      Add little water and mix to a hard dough.


      Flatten small portions of the dough and deep fry until golden.



      Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onion, ginger garlic paste.


      Grind the tomatoes and add to the sautéed onion.
      Add chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix well.


      Once the masala gets cooked, mix corn flour in 1 cup water and add.



      Simmer for 2 minutes and add the fried mushroom cabbage pakodas.


      Simmer for 2 more minutes and switch off the flame.


      Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, onion and enjoy street style mushrooms.
