ALOO PARATHA
Ingredients :Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Salt as needed
Potato - 2
Onion - 1/2
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbl spoon chopped
Cumin Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Red Chilly Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
Kneed wheat flour with required salt and water to a soft chappathi dough.
Pressure cook potato for 5 whistles, peel off the skin and mash it well.
Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
Make small balls and keep aside.
Make balls using chappathi dough, lightly flatten it and place the potato masala balls above.
Close the masala balls using the chappathi dough and flatten it gently using rolling pin.
Dust flour when needed.
Roast the aloo paratha in hot dosa tawa on both sides until golden.
Drizzle oil or butter on both sides.
