EMPTY  SALNA

Ingredients:
Onion - 1/2
Tomato - 1
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 t spoon 
Salt as needed 
Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Coriander Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Cumin Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Garam Masala - 1/4 t spoon 
Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Coriander Leaves 
Curry Leaves - 1 spring 
To Sauté & grind:
Onion - 1/4
Green Chilly - 1/2
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garlic - 2
Cashewnut - 3
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 t spoon 
Pepper - 1/4 t spoon 
Fried Gram dal - 1/2 tbl spoon 
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Cardamom - 1
Cloves - 1
Cinnamon - 1/2 stick


      Roast the ingredients to grind until nice aroma comes.


      Add water and grind to a fine paste.


      Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, chopped onion, tomato and sauté until soft.


      Add ginger garlic paste and sauté until raw smell leaves.
      Add chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, garam masala and mix well.


      Now add ground paste, 2 cups of water and allow it to boil for 15 minutes in low flame.



      Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and have Salna with chapathi or parota.
