BASUNDI
Ingredients:Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 3 tbl spoon
Cardamom Powder - 1 pinch
Saffron Strands - 10
Almonds - 6
Cashewnuts - 6
Mix saffron in 2 tbl spoon boiling water and keep aside.
Boil milk in low flame in a heavy bottomed pan.
Mix occasionally, simmer until the milk thickens and reduces.
Scrap the milk solids from the sides and add it back to the milk.

Add sugar, saffron water and mix gently.
Add chopped nuts, cardamom powder and mix well.
Simmer until we get the required consistency and switch off the flame.
Once cooled refrigerate for an hour.
