SEEDAI/ BUTTER CHEEDAI

BUTTER  SEEDAI

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Urad Dal - 1 tbl spoon 
Seasame Seeds - 1t spoon 
Salt as needed 
Butter - 2 tbl spoon 
Oil For Deep Frying 
Coconut Grated - 1 1/2 tbl spoon 


      Roast rice flour in low flame for 3 minutes and transfer to a mixing bowl.


      Grind urad Dal in a mixer and dry roast for 3 minutes.


      Sieve together rice flour and urad dal flour.
      Add softened butter, salt, sesame seeds, dry roasted coconut and mix well.


      Add water and kneed to a soft dough.


      Now make small balls and prick using tooth pick in each ball.
      The ball should be made loosely.


      Now deep fry the seedai in low flame until bubbles subsides.



      Remove the seedai in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.


      Store the seedai in an airtight container.
