VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

VEGETABLE FRIED RICE 

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Butter - 1 tbl spoon 
Garlic - 5
Spring Onion - 4
Carrot - 2
Beans - 5
Cabbage - 1/4
Green Peas - 1/4 cup
Salt as needed 
Pepper Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Soya Sauce - 1/2 t spoon 


      Wash and soak basmati rice for 1/2 an hour.
      Add water and cook rice until soft.         Drain excess water and allow it to cool completely.
      Cook green peas in boiling water until soft.


      Heat butter in a pan and fry garlic, white part of onion.


      Add chopped carrot, beans, cabbage, cooked green peas and sauté until cooked.


      Add soya sauce, salt, pepper powder and mix well.


      Switch off the flame and add cooked rice and green part of the spring onion.



      Mix gently and have veg fried rice with tomato sauce.
