BEANS PARUPPU  USILI

Ingredients:
Beans - 1/4 kg
Toor Dal - 25 gm
Chana Dal - 25 gm
Red Chilly - 2
Salt as needed 
To temper:
Coconut Oil - 1 tbl spoon 
Mustard Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Curry Leaves - 1 spring 
Asaefotida - 1/4 t spoon 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 


      Wash and soak toor Dal and chana Dal together overnight (in refrigerator) or atleast for 2 hours.
      Drain water completely and grind coarsely along with red chillies.


      Spread in a steamer plate or idly plate and steam for 6 minutes.


      Once cooled completely crumble the dal using your hands and keep aside.


      Wash and cut beans to desired size uniformly.
      Steam cook beans until soft.


      Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asaefotida, turmeric powder.


      Add the crumbled dal and fry in low flame until golden.


      Now add cooked beans, salt and saute for 5 more minutes.

      Enjoy beans usili with rice and rasam.
