GHEE MYSORE PAK

MYSORE  PAK


Ingredients:
Gram Flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 1/4 cup + 1 tbl spoon
Water - 3/4 cup
Ghee - 1 1/4 cup


      Grease a pan with ghee, place a butter paper and keep ready.
      Sift the gram flour using a seive.


      Melt the ghee and keep aside.


      Add 1/4 cup ghee to the sifted gram flour and mix well to get a semi thick consistency.


      Heat sugar and water in a heavy bottomed pan in high flame.


      Once it starts bubbling, add the gram flour mix.



      Mix continuously in low flame.


      Add the remaining ghee in intervals and cook in low flame until it becomes non sticky and semi thick.



      Pour it in the greased plate immediately and slightly flatten using the backside of a spoon.



      Allow it to rest for 1/2 an hour.
      Invert the plate,  tap it from the top and demould in a plate.



      Cut into small pieces and enjoy ghee Mysore pak.


      Store the Mysore pak in an airtight container.
