DRY GULAB JAMUN

DRY GULAB JAMUN 

Ingredients:
Jamun Mix - 1 pack
Sugar - 600 gm
Water - 700 ml
Cardamom Powder - 1 pinch 


      Mix sugar, water and boil in low flame for 20 minutes.
      Add 3 strands of saffron, cardamom powder and switch off the flame.



      Mix gulab jamun mix with water and kneed to a soft dough.



      Close with a lid and allow to rest for 1/2 an hour.
      Grease your hands with ghee and make small balls using the dough.


      Deep fry the jamuns in low flame until golden.


      Remove the jamun balls and soak in the sugar syrup for 15 minutes.
      The sugar syrup must be hot while soaking.



      Remove the jamuns from the sugar syrup and dry them in a tissue paper.


      Coat the jamuns with powdered sugar or desiccated coconut or leave as such.



      Enjoy dry jamuns warm.
