ALOO GOBI MASALA

ALOO GOBI MASALA 

Ingredients:
Potato - 2
Cauliflower - 200 gm
Ginger - 1 inch piece 
Garlic - 6
Onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Cashewnut - 5
Coconut Oil - 2 tbl spoon 
Biriyani Leaf - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1 t spoon 
Cloves - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Kashmiri Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon 
Garam Masala - 1/2 t spoon 
Salt as needed
Tomato Sauce - 1 t spoon 
Kasuri Methi - 1 t spoon 
Coconut Oil - 2 tbl spoon 
Fresh Cream - 2 tbl spoon 


      Clean and cut cauliflower into small florets, boil for 5 minutes and keep aside.
      Cut potatoes into small pieces, boil for 5 minutes and keep aside.


      Saute ginger, garlic, onion, cashews until soft with 1 t spoon oil.


      Grind along with tomato to a fine paste.


      Heat oil and add cinnamon, biriyani leaf, cumin, cloves.
      Add the ground masala paste, salt, chilly powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, salt, tomato sauce, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and mix well.


      Simmer for 5 minutes so that masala gets cooked well.
      Add add the boiled cauliflower, potato along with 1/2 cups water.



      Cook covered until the veggies gets soft.
      Add fresh cream and sauté for 2 minutes.



      Enjoy aloo GOBI masala with chappathi.
