CHEPPANKILANGU / ARBI ROAST

ARBI ROAST

Ingredients :
Cheppankilangu / Arbi - 1/4 kg
Salt as needed 
Chilly Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Pepper Powder - 1 t spoon 
Cumin Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon 
Gram Flour - 2 t spoon 
Rice Flour - 1 t spoon 
Coconut Oil - 3 tbl spoon 


      Soak arbi in water for 10 minutes.
      Wash thoroughly and pressure cook in water for 3 whistles in high flame.
      Once pressure releases open the cooker and allow it to cool.
      Peel off the skin and cut into desired size pieces.
      Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, gram flour, rice flour and mix gently.


      Add coconut oil in a hot dosa pan and add the marinated arbi.


      Cover and cook in low flame until both the sides are roasted well.


      Enjoy arbi roast when it is hot.
