BLACK CHANA MASALA
Ingredients:Black Chana - 1/2 cup
Potato - 1
Butter - 1 tbl spoon
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Cardamom - 1
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 t spoon
Sugar - 1/2 t spoon
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Turmeric Powder- 1/4 t spoon
Red Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon
Cumin Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Garam Masala - 1/2 t spoon
Butter - 1 tbl spoon
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Cardamom - 1
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 t spoon
Sugar - 1/2 t spoon
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Turmeric Powder- 1/4 t spoon
Red Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon
Cumin Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Garam Masala - 1/2 t spoon
Salt as needed
Coriander Leaves - 2 t spoon
Coriander Leaves - 2 t spoon
Cashew nut - 4
To grind
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic - 5
Green Chilly - 1
Soak black chana overnight and pressure cook until soft.
Grind ginger, garlic, green chilly coursely.
Now add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and cook covered until soft.
Add the cooked chana, boiled potato, cashew paste and simmer for 10 minutes.

Green Chilly - 1

Grind cashews with water to a fine paste.
Heat butter in a pan and fry cinnamon, cardamom, fennel seeds, sugar, chopped onion until golden.
Add the ground paste and sauté for a minute.
Add the ground paste and sauté for a minute.
Now add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and cook covered until soft.
Add the cooked chana, boiled potato, cashew paste and simmer for 10 minutes.
